On my recent post “Kickstarter Vegabonds” I brought to your attention about the awesome band that is The Vegabonds. In a nutshell, they are raising funds towards their third album with the site Kickstarter. I am supporting this project 100% as I’m not only a fan of their music but I have been able to talk to the band and they are amazing guys. I have had the opportunity to ask them a few questions so they can tell you why this project is something special for the band.
Why did you decided to use a fund-raising site like Kickstarter for your 3rd album? - The reason we decided to use a fund-raising site like Kickstarter is because we are completely an independent band and making a record and putting it on vinyl can cost a lot. A site like Kickstarter is a great way for a business to raise money to complete a project.
To any new fans out there how would you describe your music? - For people that do not know The Vegabonds, we simply describe are music as the music your parents grew up on but with a mix of today’s Rock and Roll. We are simply 6 boys from Alabama that grew up on Southern Rock music.

Because we are an independent band, we need peoples help. There is no one helping us, we do everything are selves. So failure is not an option. That is why anything anyone can give, be a dollar or how every much they can, is greatly appreciated. We hope everyone can check out our Kickstarter page and help us reach our goal of $5,000 dollars.
